So when your on a horse the main thing to do so you don't fall off is hold on and have the girth tight enough. I have fallen of about 2 times. So the first time it had rained earlier that day and I went to ride for my lesson. Once I got on we did the usual warm up. After that we were trotting and he was acting kind of nervous and spooked when we came close to the puddles. So I went around again and he got spooked and no one knew he would do this he swerved to the side and I fell to the opposite side that he swerved. Then I got up and got back on to continue my lesson.
The second time I was on the same horse and we were cantering and he likes to speed up while cantering. So he started to go really fast and I was trying to get him to slow down and I lost a stirrup. I then went out of the saddle and fell on my arm and side. I got up got back on and keep going. I felt my arm feel wet and I looked at my elbow and I had scraped my arm really bad. Those are my falls and I have some more fails but I'll tell y'all about it later. Bye Guys!

Mounting Bareback
So if you wanted to know how to mount a horse bareback here we go. You first need to make sure the horse is comfortable with having someone jump or feel you on his/her back. You then grab their mane and it doesn't hurt them because they don't have nerves there. You need to have arm and leg strength to do this though. So after you have the mane in your hand you want to jump and hoist yourself onto the horse or you can lay yourself over the horses back and get up by throwing your leg over and sitting up.
But if you don't get it the first time just try again but before you try again you need to rub or praise your horse for just standing there and being obedient. Then you try again but this time try harder to pull yourself up and onto the horse and then praise them once your on. That's the way I would get up on a horse bareback. But if you do it differently just let me know its cool to see how others do things differently!

Intermediate Riders
Today I will be talking about what intermediate riders do in there lessons. First as always we stand up in our stirrups. You then trot the horse to warm up. Intermediate riders jump courses while the beginners just walk over poles. So after the horse is warmed up we canter and to get a horse to canter or really do anything you have to ask the horse to go then if they don't you tell the horse to go and then if the horse doesn't go you command the horse to go. But to canter you ask, tell, and command. while you are doing that you have to kick the horse forward. While cantering if you feel the horse start to slow down you need to squeeze and if you have a crop and they don't go then tap them with the crop. Some of you might not know what a canter is but it is faster than a trot but slower than a gallop. That's all today bye guys!
